Welcome to Nease Color Guard — where athleticism, artistry, teamwork, and performance come together. Whether you’re brand new or already love performing, Color Guard is a place to grow, challenge yourself, and become part of something unforgettable.
What Is Color Guard?
Color Guard is a performing art that combines dance, choreography, music, and equipment work using flags, rifles, and sabres. You’ll often see Color Guard performing alongside the marching band during football games, competitions, pep rallies, and special events.
But Color Guard is much more than spinning flags.
It’s about storytelling through movement, building confidence, and working together as a team to create exciting performances that inspire audiences.
No prior experience is needed to join — just enthusiasm, dedication, and a willingness to learn.

Come see what Nease Color Guard is all about. We can’t wait to meet you!
Fall rehearsals are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays right after school. Tuesday rehearsals end at 9 pm, Wednesday rehearsals end at 7:30 pm. With occasional weekend camps (TBD). We perform at the Friday night football games and compete in a few competitions.
After marching band season, we begin winterguard. The rehearsal schedule for winterguard will be determined following the marching season with additional weekend camps as well as competitions starting in January.
A flag and flag bag will be provided to you once you join the team, rifle and sabre equipment is purchased individually, details to be given once you become a part of our great team!
Color guard related cost information will be provided once you attend a skills camp!
